Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners Brittany Snow and Sharon Ford started Mindful Matters, LLC, to have a more direct and personalized impact on patient care.

OUR VISION

We imagine a world where people have better access to health care, and where mental health stigma and barriers to health are eliminated. With Mindful Matters, we aim to create a safe, culturally sensitive space to seek treatment for people of all walks of life.

Our care team meets with you in the privacy of your own home. In this space, no subject is off limits or taboo. We create treatment plans based on your unique needs. We collaborate with you on how you would like your treatment to look.

Here, you are not just a patient. You are a valued part of the community, and you are worthy of compassionate care.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to promote whole health. We are dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based treatment that addresses immediate needs of our clients, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

At Mindful Matters, it is important to us to encourage open dialogue about mental health, empowering individuals and communities through education and resources that cultivate mindfulness and resilience and collaborating with community partners to enhance access to mental health services.

Sharon Ford, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Sharon is a compassionate clinician with 15 years of experience. She is committed to providing high quality, patient-centered care. She is committed to serving individuals from all backgrounds with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.

  • Sharon is board certified and offers a comprehensive approach to mental wellness, combining medication management with supportive therapy to help her clients achieve stability and improve quality of life.

Brittany is a dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioner. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. Brittany brings a deep sense of community connection and cultural understanding to her practice.

  • Brittany’s approach is rooted in treating the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, while creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and supported. Her clinical experience includes treatment of mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions, with an emphasis on holistic and personalized care. 

    Brittany integrates pharmacologic management with lifestyle interventions, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy. She is passionate about improving access to mental health services in underserved communities and empowering clients through collaborative, individualized treatment plans.
